We had a fabulous time in Omaha this last weekend! We left Friday after lunch and came home Sunday evening. The kids were on their best behavior all weekend long, and I have to say this was our best trip to Omaha yet! The little angels slept almost the whole way to and from Omaha, and when they were awake, they were extremely well behaved!
We started out the weekend by going to our NICU reunion on Saturday morning. It is always good to go back to the NICU and remember where we started! We got really close to a lot of the nurses that took care of us when the babies were first born, so we always like to go back and see them. I made some pretty good friends while I was there too. It’s amazing how you can bond so quickly with someone you have never met before when they are experiencing the same things you are. It was good to meet other mom’s that were there with their babies, so it was good to see some of them while we were there!

Saturday night we went over to Shelley's house to hang out and have some much needed grown up time! Shelley and her husband Jeff, and one of our other favorite nurses, Deb and her husband were there. The kids had a great time running around in Shelley's huge back yard and Lee and I enjoyed the grown up conversation and drinks!

Sunday we went to the zoo. The kids loved it and would have spent the entire day there if they wouldn't have really needed a nap! They rode in their strollers most of the time, but started to get really tired at the end, so we had to take them out. I wanted them to sleep on the way home, so that meant no napping at the zoo! It's about a 3 hour drive home, so you can understand why I wanted them to nap in the car, right?

Check out this cool rock, mom! -Kaden
Can I please take this off now? -Cooper
Is it time to go home yet? -Kaden
Yeah right, Cooper! -Brett
Kaden saw this leaf on the ground and thought it was the coolest thing ever! He must have said WOW! about 20 times and looked at it for about 3 minutes! Silly boy!
This is, by far, my favorite picture of Parker! She is totally amazed by all the fish swimming around her!

Brett was falling asleep on the way back to the car! Poor little guy was exhausted!
The whole weekend was awesome, and we were sad to come home! We can't wait until the next time we get to go back!
One more thing, I think I heard the best question about our kids while we were in Wal-Mart that I have ever heard. This girl was asking Lee the normal questions, ya know, Are they triplets? (No, there's four, not three), How do you do it? ( We just do!) Then she tops it all off by saying, "Well, how much did they cost????" What? Are you kidding me? Um, let's see, I think they were 4 for a dollar back in aisle 8! Okay, that's not what I said, but I really wanted to!
Have a great day!

Looks like yours do well with the harnesses. We haven't used ours out anywhere yet, but I'm starting to try them out on walks around the neighborhood.
People just keep coming up with insane new comments and questions, don't they?!? They cost a fortune and they're worth every penny!
From on fellow quad mom to another, congrats on the multiples & more website! Your kiddos are adorable!

Believe it or not, someone actually asked my husband how much they cost when they were little. He just told them that we didn't know yet because we still had a whole lot of paying for to do. lol
Love all the pictures of the kids.
