Eye appointment

The kiddos had an eye appointment today.  This is the first time they have had their eyes dilated since they were teeny tiny.  At least this appointment was a little more pleasant than how it used to be when they had their eyes checked!  When they were teeny tiny, the doctor would use retractors to hold their eyes open so he could get a good look at them.  Now they are big enough that he can just look at them like he would anyone else.

The kids did great and were really good about looking where the doctor told them to.  He said they all have a little bit of farsightedness, but that is totally NORMAL for a two year old and they are likely to outgrow it!  Otherwise, they look AWESOME!  This is one more reminder for us of how lucky we are to have four happy, healthy kids!  So many babies that are born as early as ours were have major problems with ROP.  We are so blessed to not have encountered any of those problems!  Once again, I am reminded that I have four living, breathing, miracles living in my house!  God is Awesome!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks for your support on my blog about the NICU. You must have endured so much more than us with your babies being there longer. How did you do it?! I must admit to losing my mind a little!!

I'm so glad your babies' eye appointment went so well! I'm adding your blog to my sidebar so I can follow along!
